Alright! I have decided to blog again. After my previous blog (It is v simple)stopped allowing me to write anything because I left it for some time (a long time, in fact), it is time to start a new one.
This time, I have decided to name this blog "It's not simple anymore.". Yes, my life is not simple anymore. I have 3 kids now. Life is not simple anymore. I think for 3 different, ever-changing individuals everyday (I do not think for myself anymore!). Not forgetting 2 of them are boys (Spaghettis trying to understand the waffles) and the littlest is of the same species as I am, and we are the tougher and the more un-predictable gender. So yes, my life is not simple anymore.
Yet, this life is more fulfilling and enriching than ever before. I get to learn more everyday from the 3 things in my life than I got to learn in the past 28 years before I had them. I have learnt to be gentler and kinder with my words. I have learnt integrity and honesty in my promises and my actions. Everyday, the little eyes are watching me. Like surveillance cameras, capturing my every action and behaviour and then you see them in action, the mirror image of you. I've seen the ugly me many times in them. (ohh... no... that got to go). And I see the nice, pretty, sweet ones. (Yes, that's so me!) And these make me very happy.
Ok. so where am i getting to??? The point of starting this blog and the name for it. I believe my life is not simple anymore so I want to take time to slow down. Blogging helps me think through my days and weeks and captures them in my memory. It's kind of like a review or a summary report of my life, so that my days do not just pass by me. I want to stop at some point to express my feelings, whether they are good or bad. And on other days, I can go back and read them again. And said I've survived that, so I can do it again. I want to remember my growth, yes, not only my children's growth, but mine! Cos I am a growing child too!
So if you are reading this blog of mine, you are probably very interested in my life (cos you are a really really close friend) or you have nothing better to do at this point of time. Be entertained by the nonsense in this blog. And I hope it will bring you some smiles on crazy, bad days.
